Photo Essay: Traffic Signs and Our Lives

For a moment, look at traffic signs that you pass by everyday...
and think about what they tell you about. Is it just guiding us to safe traffic?
More than that. If you look deeply into traffic signs, you can probably find some meanings for your life. Take a look at my photo essay: Traffic Signs and Our Lives.

Document: Behind the Scene

Everything has a behind story.
Let's take a close look at how UWM logo clothes are ordered, shipped, organized, and finally displayed.

The relationship between an environment and a subject is such an important matter, because depending on the environment where a subject belongs to, a photo can tell different things.

My Favorite Time of Day

I like the most when the sun rises, because it's the time when everything alive wakes up and begins letting out its 100% recharged energy. Sometimes when I wake up early just before the sun rises, it's one of my favorite things to sit beside the window of my apartment waiting for Lake Michigan to change its color...with relaxing coffee scent. Then, when sun wakes up and shows out his shy lights, I take out my camera for the best moment. However, what I see in the picture is not as amazing as I see through my eyes. Maybe I'm an amateur to take the best out of it, or maybe it's impossible to capture the moment as it's seen. Even though I still haven't succeeded in taking a picture that satisfies me, I don't get frustrated. I just like the moment which brings me a pure smile and a feeling that I'm alive.

My Camera: My Eye

My camera is SONY DSC-P100 with 5.1 mega pixels. Since I purchased this camera in my country, South Korea, it's been the best friend of mine. Through its viewfinder, I can see the world around me more closely and put a new meaning into a small thing that I would ignore if I didn't have a camera. Even though it's getting old and hurt with scratches, I love taking this camera with me everywhere I go.
